Tomorrow is Garden's first ever Social Hour which will be scheduled for first Sundays of the month at 1pm PT! The format for the first Social Hour will be very simple:
1pm PT - Audience settles in / Light Games
1:30pm PT - Featured Speaker
1:50pm PT - Group Games / Mingling
2:30pm PT - Close
The goal of Social Hour is to give Garden members an opportunity to share whatever random thought/idea/art/games they may be working on, or practicing in their brain as well as social time for us to connect. If you have something new you'd like to work out, or want an audience to get some feedback, or just have something you want to share with a group of people who already want to see you be great, Social Hour is the perfect time to share! Presenters are expected to share for 15-30 minutes, but that can be flexible as needed. Want to present at a future Social Hour? Send us your proposals here! RSVP to attend here.
Warming up the mic first will be J Mase with a short talk and some group exercises under his title: Is Trans a White Word?: Documenting Terms for Gender Expansiveness Beyond Colonization. Want to imagine a gender liberated world where who we are is not restricted by colonial constraints? Unsure what transness has to do with colonization at all?
