๐ Join Deeda November 10th at 6pm PT as she hosts an interest meeting to explore forming a study group around โค๏ธโ๐ฉน The Pain We Carry: Healing from Complex PTSD for People of Color by Natalie Y. Gutiรฉrrez, LMFT (and the companion workbook). The group will offer community support for addressing systemic, intergenerational, and attachment trauma through therapeutic practices. This meeting will be a space to learn more and decide together on the groupโs structure (meeting frequency, dates, and focus). No commitment required. Just bring your curiosity and ideas! ๐ Quiet-ish Reading Club / Connect (QRC) ๐๐๐ meets Tuesdays at 6pm PT! QRC - Garden Edition is where we chill together in mostly quiet company of 45 min reading blocks. Bring your own: book, audiobook, article, magazine, comic book, training manuals, graphic novel, paperwork/forms, poetry, etc. anything youโd like to or need to read. Most of the time will be us practicing sustained silent reading (SSR) in cozy, quiet company together. We will take occasional breaks to chat and socialize - mics optional. ๐ซ The next session of Chronic Illness and Long Covid Support Group will be Thursday November 5th from 5:30pm-7:30pm PT with Chanelle! Navigating everything that comes with chronic illness can be difficult - from managing symptoms to experiencing grief over missing your pre-illness life. This is a peer support space where we can share our feelings about living with any chronic/long-term illness, including long COVID, during an ongoing pandemic. RSVP here!

This group is created for writers who want feedback and constructive criticism on their unpublished literary works, especially for those looking to publish their piece, but just need an extra pair of eyes and encouragement. Each Social Hour will feature a 15-30 min rant// talk// presentation// performance from a Garden member on a subject of their choosing as well as time for folks to meet other members in a casual hang out space with games and activities. ๐ค The 2025 Black Solidarity Economy Fund open cycle is ready for applications! This fund is for Black-led and Black-serving organizations building regional solidarity economy ecosystems that are controlled and governed by the very people they serve. We fund projects from housing, schools, farms and food production, local governance structures, art and culture, healthcare and healing, to transportation. If this sounds like your work, we encourage you to apply. Applications close November 3, 2025. We are also still accepting applications for the Rapid Response Fund until December 12, 2025.
๐ผ Good Insight, an award-winning executive search firm focused on nonprofit leadership and is seeking a fully remote Recruiter for contract work. As a contractual supplement to Good Insightโs team, the Recruiter will provide research and sourcing support for Good Insightโs executive search engagements with nonprofits, foundations, and associations. The Recruiter will be responsible for generating diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines by using LinkedIn, Candid/GuideStar, proprietary Good Insight information, and other online research tools. This hourly, remote contractor will be part of a bench of

๐๏ธ The Transgender Film Center's Found Footage Feature Fund, powered by Duplass Brothers Productions, is a new initiative designed to support the creation of low-budget, high-creativity feature films by trans filmmakers. The program will award a single $25,000 cash grant to fund the full production of a feature-length film that leverages the found footage filmmaking technique to create resourceful and cost-effective storytelling movies. This is not a development opportunity; it is a production grant. The selected filmmaker must complete a finished feature film within 12 months of receiving funds, using only the grant amount, with no additional development deals permitted. The goal is to offer a greenlight, not a stepping stone. Applications Close: November 7, 2025 at 11:59 PM PT.
๐ The CatchLight Global Fellowship is for photographers, videographers, and creative leaders, whose in-depth storytelling projects might ignite social change through innovative visuals, and long-form impact. Since 2017, CatchLight has awarded $30,000 to 26 innovative visual storytellers covering a multitude of topics and come from all over the world. December 15th deadline.
๐จ Art for Palestine (AFP) is CALLING ARTISTS OF ALL DISCIPLINES! Through this campaign, we are raising funds for Excellence in International Education (EIE) โ a Palestinian-led 501(c)(3) creating safe spaces where displaced kids can learn, heal, and grow. EIE provides art therapy, literature, photography, and community-led education, equipping kids and teens with tools for resilience, connection, and hope.
