Do you want to release your rage? Join us Sunday June 8th at 1:30pm PST! Mo is hosting Garden’s Roast Wanted: A Night of Roasting for us to release the rage in our hearts! 👺 Wanna roast your homophobic relative? The concept of time? Politicians who keep fucking up your life? A celebrity you have petty beef with? COVID deniers? Pitch a topic that you can complain about for 15 min or less by June 1st at 11:59pm PST! Here are some guidelines:
☮️ No roasting Garden members.
🤐 If you’re roasting someone who is NOT a public figure, please don't use real names/pictures.
🙅♀️ No racism, ableism, fatphobia, or any discrimination. Be creative!
🥊 Punch up, not down.
⏰ Each roast should be 15mins or less.

Bring your own: book, audiobook, article, magazine, comic book, training manuals, graphic novel, paperwork/forms, poetry, etc. anything you’d like to or need to read. Most of the time will be us practicing sustained silent reading (SSR) in cozy, quiet company together. We will take occasional breaks to chat and socialize - mics optional. 🫂 The next session of Chronic Illness and Long Covid Support Group will be this Thursday June 5th from 5:30pm-7:30pm PST with Chanelle! Navigating everything that comes with chronic illness can be difficult - from managing symptoms to experiencing grief over missing your pre-illness life. This is a peer support space where we can share our feelings about living with any chronic/long-term illness, including long COVID, during an ongoing pandemic.

💻 Do you work from home and sometimes feel a little too isolated from others? Come Co-Work with us in Garden! We are a 24/7 drop in space for folks to join to co-work silently, listen to music, play a game or chat amongst each other in the chat box.
🌈 Familia TQLM works at the local and national levels to achieve the collective liberation of trans, queer, and gender nonconforming Latinxs through building community, organizing, advocacy, and education. 🩼 The Borealis Disability Inclusion Fund (DIF) supports U.S.-based groups led by people with disabilities, disabled people of color, disabled queer and trans folks, building a more liberatory world free from ableism. The Disability Inclusion Fund utilizes a participatory grantmaking process. All grantees will be selected by a grantmaking committee composed of majority disability advocates and invited funders. They'll be hosting an informational webinar on June 2, 2025 at 11am PDT/1pm CDT/2pm EDT to review the application process and answer applicant questions. ASL interpretation and real-time captioning will be provided. We will also record the session for those who cannot attend. Applications are due June 25th.
📖 Authors who have served time inside prisons, jails, and immigration detention centers have vital stories to share. If you’re a system-impacted writer, the Bolt Cutters Cohort is here to support you to further your writing project. This program is fully funded for all accepted participants. Bolt Cutters Cohort, is accepting applications until July 15th for their six-week program for authors who have been incarcerated, jailed, or detained by ICE. The program will run from September 15 to October 31, 2025.
