It's Official! Halloween Weekend is Saturday November 1st & Sunday November 2nd in Garden marking our second annual Halloween Party! Below, check out the schedule and FAQ's! Garden Members RSVP here! Saturday November 1st

✍🏾1pm PT/4pm ET The Storyteller's Anthology w/ Louis: a public bi-weekly writing group created for writers who want feedback and constructive criticism on their unpublished literary works. 
🎤 5:00pm PT/8pm ET Family Feud Speed Meeting: a game where two teams attempt to guess the top answers to survey questions. The survey questions were answered by Garden newsletter readers. The survey is still open until 2pm PT Sunday October 26th if you'd like to participate! Teams will be formed during the event as the size of the teams will be based on the number of people who want to play. The rules will be explained during the event so no prior knowledge of the game is necessary to play!
🎭 7pm PT/10pm ET Costume Contest: Don't have a costume? Dress up your avatar and get creative! Compete for a $25 cash prize!
🪩 7:45pm PT/10:45pm ET Step & Slide Dance Break: Think Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle and YOU! Come to learn some group dances or just ready to dance what you already love!
🎥 9pm PT/12am ET Late Night/Early Morning Movie: Wendell & Wild 
📺 10:45pm PT/1:45am ET Jack Box TV Murder Party w/ Anne: Trivia with a murderous twist.

🥊 8am PT/11am ET Self-Defense w/Caroline: reading, discussion and movement series on self-defense principles. In these politically challenging times, it is especially important for our collective liberation and self-care to learn self-defense.
🎃 11am PT/2pm ET Pixelated Pumpkin Decorating 🎃: Let's color and craft together!
✊🏾 1pm PT/4pm ET How Assata Got Free on Dia de los Muertos (and finding your liberation): A Garden Social Hour event. On the 46th anniversary of her escape, Deeda & J Mase will host a workshop with guided visioning practices, followed by time to connect and hang out together. We’ll also announce a February 2026 book club on Assata: An Autobiography. 
🎙️ 3pm PT/6pm ET Karaoke & Open Mic: Come sign a song, spit a poem, tell a story, or just come to be entertained!

Can I come if I didn't RSVP? Of course! While we appreciate a good RSVP so we can estimate how many folks will attend, feel free to drop in even if you haven't!

Can I still explore Garden and play games when scheduled events are happening? Absolutely! Garden is a space of choosing your own adventure!

What if I don't have a costume for the contest??? Dress up your avatar!
